Great balance. I'd expect no different from a German.

Crystal clear straw color and foamy white head precede a superb balance of malty sweetness and hop bitterness. Just the right amount of bitterness finishes this beer leaving a pleasant hop aftertaste. A fav German pils.

My father introduced me to this beer. He drank it while stationed in Germany. I has a bitter taste to me which is what I like in a beer.

Crystal clear straw color with a fluffy white head. Good fruit flavors, mild bitterness, slightly above average pilsner. Very drinkable. Good with a spicy meal.

A nice snappy pils. Starts smooth for easy drinkability and finishes with a nice little bite. Very crisp with a hint of bitter apple. Great summer beer.

Bright golden color, giant whitecap foam head that leaves a wonderful lace as you drink. Crisp, mildly bitter and sweet. Not much of a nose to speak of. Bitter hop aftertaste that's not especially clean. Enjoyable enough, but not the first German lager I'd grab. Great price point for a 4 pack of pints.

A: Typical for a pilsner that I am used to, it is a haystack-yellow color with a crisp, bright, white head on top. S: Very grainy on the nose, no hops at all, slight fruit and slightly skunky. T: Tastes like it smells, very grainy and bread-like. It carries a very light earthy hop flavor on the backend. M: It's carbonated on the low end, and a light body - almost a little thin. That could be the part of me that doesn't drink a lot of lager though. D: Very drinkable, this is a beer that would be a go-to beer in a party situation for me.

A classic German pilsner. Full of grain notes, with a slight butter note on the back of the tounge. Great beer to go with some good grilled sausages.

Unspectacular Pilsener with noch real character that screams mass-production. Nice colour, slight bitter note and that's it. This beer is drinkable, but just plain boring.

Standard low-character mass production German beer. We emptied a case at our camp-site pretty quickly, so "drinkability" must be high. A good basic beer with no thrills, yet no disappointments

PRESENTATION: No head. Consistency is thin, color is gold, clarity is clear, and aroma is straw-like and of roasted barley. TASTE: The taste is tart and shrimp-like (sulfury). Has a slightly bitter aftertaste. BODY: The body is bubbly and thin. The mouthfeel is so/so due mainly to the carbonation. DRINKABILITY: Drinkability is also so/so. Good, but not great (+/-). EMPTY GLASS FACTOR: Clear, but not clean, glass (-). BOTTLE INSPECTION: Great label and bottle, traditional merged with contemporary.
