Clean simple Tripel
Pretty good, although very strong.
Got this in Houston.
Good floral scent, strong Belgian, sweet in the beginning, finishes, some bitterness at the end, very crisp. 9.2 abv. Lost to tripel dog dare.
The bier master knows a thing or two about Belgian's! Wink, wink!
9.2% ABV. 23 IBU. Malts: Pale Malt, Malted Wheat, Flaked Oats. Hops: Magnum, Styrian Golding. Laser printed 'best by' date: 07/12/14. Opened: 01/18/14. 12 oz. bottle poured into a glass chalice. Poured a cloudy, bubbly pale gold with glowing orange-amber highlights. A frothy, lightly-cratered, 1+finger, ivory head faded fast and left minimal lacing. Nose of bananas, cloves, honey, lemon and hints of toffee and earthy malts. Taste of bananas, lemon, cloves and a lingering bite of pepper.
Solid trippel. Has just enough malt, spice, hop combo. Not my favorite, but a good alternative.
Nice smooth Tripel. Sweet and smooth
Boulevard is hitting home runs all day long. This is a great beer
Little heavier than tank 7 but still a good beer. Good mix of hop and malt. A tasty beer
Highly carbonated & effervescent. Sophisticated balance of bananas & spice. Toffee & cream malt kiss to the finish. Beautiful yet fun
Simple Belgian. Very light color and crisp floral taste. Looks like a pilsner and has a similar texture, but otherwise a good easy to drink Belgian strong ale. More carbonation than most Belgians but does not detract from its drinkability. My appreciation grew as I drank it.
Smooth and crisp. 9% ABV. Golden color with rich, cloudy head. Citrus, lemon rind, minimal hoppiness. Excellent triple by Boulevard Brewing Co.
This is my favorite tripel.
i always go to the smokestack series when i want a flavorful strong beer. this one is one of my favorites. delicious
A triple good tripel.
A great tripel. Beautiful white head with alot or aromatics on the nose. Tons of carbonation but not overpowering. Good hops with a slight creaminess to balance it out.
Tried this at the WBF in Durham this past summer(2011) out of the bottle.
Amber/slightly hazy color with HUGE wite head...lots of carbonation, as to be expected. Nice sweetness with the perfect balance of styrian hops, which I think are helped by the carbonation. Incredibly, if not dangerously drinkable.
Nice nod to the Dead with the name, I am a sucker for wordplay! Cannot wait until Boulevard is distro'd in NC!
It's a belgian tripel ale.
A-many bubbles and a really tall, fine, light head (almost over spilled the glass.) Amber color a bit cloudy. Looked full of energy.
S-Smelled fruity and clean.
M-bubbly almost too much, but good body like a beer.
O-A pleasant beer with crisp carbonation and an interesting taste. I would have it again. But found I couldn't kill the whole 25 oz in one evening. Just didn't have the urge too.
