Hazy coppery color, with white head. Fruity aroma with malts, raisins and caramel. Taste is well balanced, light fruity and light sweet. Subtle bitterness to round it off. Creamy texture.
Classic! Delicious Belgian style! Get some
Beautiful deep copper color. Aroma wonderful notes of malt, fruit, and hopes. Taste is wonderfully smooth, fruit up front with some bitterness from the hopes on the finish. Very east drinking yet complex an delicious.
Fruity followed by a sharp bitterness on the back end.
Beautiful color and amazing body
Extraordinarily smooth for a high AVB beer. Nice copper color with a light cream colored head. Smells of banana, raisins and bread. Tastes of did fruit with deep earthy undertones. Great beer overall.
Chimay!!! I love them all, but I thk the red is my favorite
Beautiful color and head. You can tell it is a very special beer ( even if you did not know it was a Chamay!). Look forward to having again.
Excellent Belgian.. I believe this to be the least amazing Chimay... That said it's still amazing! Spicy and raisiny.. Well above average finish.. Wonderful beer
5's across the board. Always enjoy a Chimay no matter which I choose.
Great Trappist. Very smooth.
I like the story but this is an expensive beer. I did not shake the beer at all and when I opened it, it foamed all over, really put a damper on the experience. I will need to try to review this beer another time to be more fair as I feel sucking up the foam as fast as it poured out of the bottle to prevent it from getting all over my living room floor may have spoiled my pallet. Oh well.
Really doesn't get any better than this. It looks good, it smells good, it tastes good.
Solid Belgian for it's value. My usual go-to Belgian for everyday enjoyment.
Very nice,a lot of flavour, another good Belgian.
Solid, not my favorite chimay beer. Wouldn't drink it again.
Very spicy and complex, but also dangerously smooth. Much more interesting than the typical Belgian dubbel.
