A miraculous pale ale that begs the quaffer to quaff. This one never gets old.
I've tried other Ninkasi brews. Not my favorite beers. Hops dominate everything I've tried overpowering everything else the beer might have in it for me. Maybe I'm just not into hoppy beers. The right balance sure. for instance I've had IRAs before and it was delicious. But the label suggest " Notes of toasted malt up front", I don't get that at all. Bills itself as a hybrid blonde ale. It wasn't blonde at all.
Not much of a nose, just another average pale. Nothing special.
Light and good.
Not really a session beer, with 6% ABV. But it is a very good pale ale.
Is it supposed to be a sour or did I get a bad bottle? Nasty.
Pours a nice amber color and is fairly clear. Good head out of the bomber with lacing. Malty finish with come caramel notes. Nice fresh finish and spring-like hence the name.
Good beer. Nice but a little unbalanced.
Davis Street Tavern in Portland, OR
terrible flavors from what seemed to be a great quality made beer. all 8 of us hated it and thought it was disgusting
