Smells great, sweet and yeasty. Taste is much the same light and sweet followed a touch of hops. Flavors of grass and no indicator of the 9% abv.

Similar to Duvel, but with much less yeast, this Imperial Pilsner delivers all the punch with none of the challenging complexity of its Belgian cousins.

This is by far one of best imperial pilsners out there and one of my most favorite beers. The whole Crooked Line is great. These are some of the best beers currently brewed in our fair state of Utah.

I was very impressed with this beer - did not expect the fullness and flavorful affect throughout the whole tasting. Great appearance to standard, nice hues. Aroma was unique and complimented the taste, the taste - definitely an Imperial to standard and smooth like a Pilsner. An impressive texture with each mouthful and set at the right price point.

worth a go. I'd defer to My Antonia (dogfish) for the money in the imperial pilsner category, but I don't regret the experiment. I'm guessing all the beers in this "crooked" series are doable. Both this and the double IPA are strong showings so far.
