About Belgian Dark Strong Ale
Belgian Dark Strong Ales range from deep amber to deep copper in color. True to Belgian style, the aromas and flavors of these beers are quite complex. Beers of this style have a rich malty aroma, often with a dash of moderate spice or dark fruits. The flavor of these beers is similar: The sweet and rich body of Belgian ale is often host to a well-balanced combination of spices and dark fruity flavors. These beers should not be very bitter. They are smooth, high in carbonation, medium in body, and finish dry to sweet.
