About Oktoberfest/Märzen

Named for the month of March, in which Germans traditionally begin brewing these beers, and the month of October, in which they traditionally serve them, Oktoberfest beers range from dark gold to deep orange-red in color. The aroma of these lagers is rich with pervasive maltiness and has a slightly toasted character. Their body has a similar toasted flavor that leads with an initial sweetness to a full, rich center. These beers are moderately bitter, medium in body, and finish dry.
