About Stout
Stouts will tend to be black in appearance, a result of the great quantity of roasted grains used in producing them. Beers of this kind express flavors of chocolate and espresso, often with a sharp hoppy bite. They also tend to have a malty sweetness. Stouts are surprisingly dry and light in the mouth and, as with other strong beers, stouts marry well with meat from the grill.
