About Pintley

Pintley is The Pintley Company LLC. Pintley controls the website and web pages located at http://www.pintley.com, and makes available mobile applications that provide access to the Pintley Service (as defined in Pintley's Terms of Service) and this Privacy Policy applies to that website, those web pages and the mobile applications.

We respect the privacy of our users. We want to be totally transparent about the information we collect and how we use it.

Information Collection

For each registered user, we collect Personally Identifiable Information ("PII") and Non-Personally Identifiable Information ("Non-PII") to facilitate the operation of the Pintley Service.

Personally Identifiable Information refers to information that can be used to identify or contact a specific individual. Examples of PII that Pintley collects include a person's first and last name, date of birth, zip code, location information, and email address. We use this information to customize the content and/or layout of the Pintley Service for each individual visitor and to contact users regarding their account. When a registered user provides information to us, that information may be sent to servers located in the United States and other countries around the world.

Non-personally identifiable information refers to information that, by itself, cannot be tracked to a specific individual. Pintley logs non-personally-identifiable information including gender, IP address, referring/exit pages, date/time stamp, aggregate user data, anonymous location information, browser or device type, from registered users and unregistered visitors to the site. This data is used to manage the Pintley Service, track usage, and improve the Pintley Service. This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties for commercial purposes or to provide more relevant services and advertisements to registered users.

Unregistered users may use the portions of the Pintley site that do not require registration. Pintley may store the IP addresses of these users for security and monitoring purposes.

Registered users of Pintley can invite friends to view content on Pintley by sending e-mails via our automated system. Pintley will store the e-mail addresses that registered users provide. Pintley does not sell these e-mail addresses or use them to send any other communication.

From time to time, a company with which Pintley has a relationship may sponsor a promotion or contest using Pintley. Users may be asked to provide personal information including name, email address or home address or to answer questions in order to participate. In those instances, Pintley may transfer a user's personal information to that company. It will be clear at the point of collection who is collecting the personal information and whose privacy statement will apply.

Public User Profiles

Pintley users may choose to create and share information in a public profile. Information may include first and last name, biography, age or birth date, location, interests, a photo, and any other information the user wishes to share. Users create and maintain a public profile at their sole discretion and may add, edit, delete, or otherwise modify information on their profile at any time by logging into their account. Users may also choose to link their Twitter, Facebook, and/or Foursquare accounts, and to allow Pintley to post messages to such accounts on the user's behalf. Such messages my include both Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information.

Security

Pintley user profiles are secured by user-created passwords and Pintley takes certain precautions to ensure that user profile information is kept private. We use reasonable measures to protect user information that is stored within our database, and we restrict access to registered user information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff. Please note that we cannot guarantee the absolute security of registered user profile information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of registered user information at any time. Accessing and Changing Your Account Information

Registered users can review the personal information they provided to Pintley and make any desired changes to the information at any time by logging in to their account and editing the information on the account settings page. They can also close their account by contacting Pintley through the contact us page.

To permanently delete a user profile, a user should contact us using the contact form located at http://www.pintley.com/contact/.

Cookies

We use cookies to store visitors preferences, record session information, record user-specific information on what pages users access or visit, alert visitors to new areas that we think might be of interest to them when they return to our site, and customize web page content based on visitors' browser type or other information that the visitor sends. Please note this privacy statement covers the use of cookies by Pintley only and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers or other third parties.

Information Sharing with Third Parties

Pintley will never share personally identifiable information with other organizations for commercial purposes without user consent.

In addition, Pintley will not disclose personally identifiable information to any third party without user consent unless we believe that disclosure is necessary: (1) to conform to legal requirements or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process received by Pintley, whether or not a response is required by applicable law; (2) to enforce the Pintley Terms of Service Agreement, any applicable Terms of Service Agreement, or to protect our rights; or (3) to protect the safety of the public and registered users of Pintley.

Please note that leaving the "Yes, I would like to receive e-mail from relevant Pintley partners" box checked constitutes your consent to disclose personal information to organizations with which Pintley has a relationship.

Forums and Discussion Boards

Please be aware that any information posted to Pintley's forums or discussion boards can be accessed by any and all visitors to the Site, and can in turn be used by those people to send you unsolicited communications.

Business Transfer

Pintley reserves the right to transfer a user's personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of Pintley or substantially all of Pintley's assets to that successor in interest, or a merger of Pintley with and into another entity.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We encourage you check this page for any changes. Your continued use of Pintley after we post any change to this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
