About Malt Liquor

Malt Liquor is straw to pale amber in color and has little aroma. The definition of malt liquor varies between states, but often refers to any beverage that is produced by fermenting grain and water. The term may also be used to differentiate certain beverages from beer in terms of alcohol content, which in Malt Liquor is often as high as 10%. Malt liquor is produced at lower cost than many beers by using inexpensive ingredients like corn, rice and dextrose. This has lead many people to consider malt liquor little more than a cheap drink with high alcohol content.
