About Saison

Saisons range from traditionally pale orange, but may be anywhere between golden and amber in color. The focus of a Saison is on a complex blend of flavors of hop, fruit and spice. Ales of this kind have an aroma dominated by fragrances of fruit and hops. There is a presence of malt in the flavor, but this simply serves as a background to the front stage performance of the fruity and spicy flavors. These beers will be somewhat bitter, high in carbonation and light in body.
