About Straight (Unblended) Lambic

Straight Lambics range from pale yellow to deep gold in color. Their aroma is often described as oaky, earthy, horsey and even barnyard. Some lambics will have a more fruity and woody character to their aroma. Lambics will be sour in flavor, with fruity and floral flavors that vary with aging. Older lambics will often have a character of apple, honey, citrus or oak. Beers of this kind are light in body and tart in finish.
