Weizenbock

About Weizenbock

Weizenbocks range from dark amber to deep brown in color. These beers have darker aromas and flavors than other members of the German Wheat and Rye category. Their aroma will be malty with an intense fruitiness of dark fruits like plums, raisins and grapes. The flavor of a Weizenbock will also be rich. The bready flavors of the malty body should be balanced well with the sweetness of these dark fruits. These beers are creamy, full in body, and somewhat sweet in finish.
